Configure the workflow steps for your grievance process.

Understanding Workflow Steps

Grievances move through a series of steps from filing to resolution. Each step represents a stage in your grievance process.

Adding a Step

  1. Go to Settings → Grievance (or Steps)
  2. Click Add Step
  3. Configure the step:
    • Step Number - Order in the workflow
    • Name - e.g., “Step 1 Meeting”
    • Description - What happens in this step
    • Default Days - Days until deadline (optional)
  4. Click Save

  1. Edit the step you want to move
  2. Change its step number

Active vs Inactive Steps

Mark steps as inactive to hide them from new grievances while keeping them for existing cases.

Deadlines

When a default deadline is set:

  • The deadline is automatically calculated when a grievance enters that step
  • Overdue grievances are highlighted in the dashboard
