Disciplinary Cases

Track disciplinary proceedings involving union members.

Overview

Disciplinary cases work similarly to grievances but are used to track when a member faces disciplinary action from their employer.

Creating a Case

  1. Navigate to Disciplinary
  2. Click New Case
  3. Select the member involved
  4. Fill in the case details
  5. Click Create

Case Workflow

Like grievances, disciplinary cases move through configurable steps:

  1. Investigation - Initial fact-finding
  2. Interview - Member interview
  3. Decision - Employer’s decision
  4. Appeal - If applicable
  5. Closed - Final resolution

Configure your workflow steps in Settings → Disciplinary.

Case Details

Each case includes:

  • Overview - Basic information and status
  • Documents - Related files and evidence
  • Messages - Internal communication
  • Notes - Private notes
  • Tasks - Related action items

Use pre-configured text snippets for common documentation. Manage snippets in Settings → Disciplinary.
