File Tags

Organize documents with tags for easy filtering and finding.

Creating a Tag

  1. Go to Settings → File Tags
  2. Click Add Tag
  3. Enter:
    • Name - Tag label (e.g., “Contract”, “Evidence”)
    • Color - Choose a color for visual identification
  4. Click Save

Suggested Tags

Common tags for union document management:

  • Contract - Contract-related documents
  • Evidence - Evidence for grievances/cases
  • Correspondence - Letters and emails
  • Meeting Notes - Notes from meetings
  • Forms - Standard forms
  • Legal - Legal documents

Tagging Documents

When uploading or viewing a document:

  1. Click the tag icon
  2. Select one or more tags
  3. Tags are saved automatically

Filtering by Tag

In Docs & Files:

  1. Click the tag filter dropdown
  2. Select a tag
  3. Only documents with that tag are shown

Managing Tags

  • Edit - Change name or color
  • Deactivate - Hide from selection but keep on existing files
  • Delete - Remove completely (removes tag from all files)
