Documents & Files
LaborWise provides a centralized document management system for all your files.
Accessing Documents
Navigate to Docs & Files to see all documents across your organization.
View Modes
- All Files - See documents from all sources (members, grievances, cases, tasks)
- Folders - Browse standalone files organized in folders
Uploading Documents
Documents can be uploaded in several places:
From a Member Profile
- Open the member’s profile
- Go to the Documents tab
- Click Upload or drag and drop files
From a Grievance or Case
- Open the grievance/case
- Go to the Documents tab
- Upload files
To Standalone Folders
- Go to Docs & Files
- Switch to Folders view
- Navigate to your desired folder
- Click Upload or drag and drop
Organizing with Tags
Tags help you categorize and find documents:
- Click the tag icon on any document
- Select existing tags or create new ones
- Filter documents by tag in the docs list
Manage tags in Settings → File Tags.
Organizing with Folders
In the Folders view, you can:
- Create folders and subfolders
- Move files between folders
- Rename and delete folders
Supported File Types
LaborWise supports the following file types:

| Images | JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), PNG, GIF, WebP |
Maximum file size: 10MB per file. Files with unsupported types or extensions will be rejected.
Your organization has a total storage limit based on your plan (Free: 2 GB, Starter: 10 GB, Pro: 25 GB, Custom: Unlimited). Extra storage is available on the Pro plan at $5/month per 10 GB. You can check your usage in Settings → Organization. See Plans & Features for details.
Searching Documents
Use the search bar to find documents by:
- File name
- Associated member, grievance, or case
- Tags
